Holiday Gratitude and Gift Making in the Art Room!
Give your child the chance to get creative and make something special this holiday season! In Ms. Newman's after-school Winter Wonders Art Workshops, students will create beautiful, winter-themed gifts and projects, perfect for sharing with loved ones or decorating at home. From glazing a mug for hot cocoa to designing a winter solstice lantern, each session will inspire creativity and celebrate the magic of the season.
These hands-on workshops are designed for K-5 PRE students.
Wednesday, December 11: 3:50-5:00pm Glaze your own Mug $20 - FULL
Students will use food safe pottery glazes to design and paint a ceramic mug for sipping hot cocoa that will be fired in the kiln the next day and ready to take home before winter break.

Monday, December 9 & 16 from 3:50-4:35pm Oil and Water Winter Solstice Lantern $20 - FULL
Students will go on a STEAM journey to learn about polarity and density while making a utilitarian piece of art to light up the night. These gorgeous, colorful lanterns showcase the visual effects of repelling oil and translucence of the paper.

Make-ups will not be offered for workshops/summer camps
Workshop/Tuition payments must be made in full to hold your child's spot in camps and/or workshops.
If you cancel BEFORE the start of the first session of Winter Wonders (12/9) you will be refunded IF your spot can be filled.
If you need to cancel AFTER the start of Winter Wonders (12/9) you are responsible for filling your spot and reconciling payment directly with the family that takes your place. You may contact taylorknewman@gmail.com to inquire about a possible waitlist to contact.
